Recipe for French Leek Tart
Here is a delicious recipe for a French Leek tart, ‘Tarte aux Poireaux’, adapted to the UK by using mature cheddar cheese. You can of course use Gruyère!
The ingredients required are:
100g shortcrust pastry (if you are making it yourself add 1tspn French mustard)
100g serrano or other good quality ham
200g grated mature cheddar cheese.
28cm tart tin
