French for children
A GREEN MOUSE online French listening resources are free and for use on ipads, tablets, computers, mobile devices and whiteboards.
The emphasis is always upon listening practice. The aim is to cover lots of different topics using ‘stories’ and interesting images to put language into context and help children to remember the words. Most of the vocabulary for Key Stage 3 and Common Entrance will be included in due course.
The resources are aimed at children from about the age of 7 to 13, depending upon interest, ability, and exposure to French elsewhere. Some offer very good revision for older students e.g. Food & Drink in French, others are suitable for children under 7 as well, especially the songs.
