Spanish for children
Free online Spanish language resources for kids aged 7 – 13+ for use on ipads, tablets, computers, mobile devices and whiteboards:
Spanish resources which offer listening and reading practice: Short, manageable phrases delivered in a variety of interesting contexts – Good for independent oral practice too.
All the language needed for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 will be included in due course, and more. Care should be taken to use and select resources which are appropriate to students’ interest, ability and exposure to Spanish elsewhere.
Many different topics are explored using ‘stories’ and interesting images to put language into context and help children to remember the words and make good use of their knowledge. Here is an example of a cross-curriculum resource about winter: It’s Winter (El invierno)
